Yesterday, *he received a text from his sister(I guess) informing him that his Grandmother is admitted to hospital for an emergency operation. Needless to say, my first reaction was "What happen?", *he called back to know more details but everyone was not sure, they told him Grandmother-in-law complaint about the sharp pain she felt at her abdomen area and she couldn't poop.

He rushed to the hospital and after Grandmother-in-law's operation, she was warded to ICU and it turned out that she had cancer, colon cancer which spread to the other side of the intestines and caused it to rupture, if she was not operated immediately, she will.........

Though the operation was over, the cancer had been remove, I think she is not out of danger yet, she needs to be under 24 hours observation to check whether the cancer cells have spread to the other parts in her body.

The worst part was, this cancer had been staying inside her for a very long time and the doctor never told us about this when she passed out in the kitchen and was admitted to the hospital a few years back, until now then we realised. What kind of doctors are they?

*He came home and told me that Grandmother-in-law was in a semi-concious state now, when he went in to visit her, *he called out to her and the moment she heard *his voice, her heart rate increased, she tried to talk to him but she couldn't. Though I was not there, but I can feel the heart wrenching moments, everyone was holding back their tears. *His younger sister was crying very badly because she was the one closest to Grandmother-in-law.

Grandmother-in-law dote on his younger sister the most, other than her, it was *him. They just told *him that Grandmother-in-law kept on saying *he was her precious Grandson, “我的宝贝孙现在很乖了，有做工。。。”in Teochew. (He used to be a useless bum whom everyone thought he was a gone case, and GIL was disappointed in him.)

I am glad that at least in her, I hate to say this, remaining life span, *he have did something which are able to make her proud and grinning from ear to ear, nothing but praises for him, and telling everyone *he was her precious Grandson. I think she is more than happy to see *him having his own family and earning money he earned himself.

To hell with those ingrates! Family dramas over there...

Grandmother-in-law is the only person I like the most over at *his family, she is the one I really regard as my family. I think she is the only one in *his family who dote on me. I need not type too much, those who know me should know. Afterall, that's *his family, I have no rights to elaborate.

The only thing I can do is pray that everything will turn out fine. Hopefully, she can be transfer to the normal ward soon. The doctors will hold a meeting later to discuss whether she's strong enough to undergo chemo therapy or not. You know, elderly people undergoing surgery are very risky already, chemo... afraid that their body cannot take it.
